And whether you choose to wear them or display them, they’ll make a great addition to all your other Halo collectibles. In a blog post today, the Xbox team announces that it’s teamed up with footwear brand Wolverine to create a Spartan-inspired boot collection. And, the Master Chief boots are just the beginning of this collaboration. The Xbox team says it will be forthcoming with more details on additional Spartan-inspired footwear from Wolverine in the coming months. These yet unannounced boots will “draw on the popularity from Halo Infinite multiplayer” says Xbox. Which means you should expect to see some designs that are based on armor cores found in the multiplayer arena.

The Halo Master Chief boots will be extremely limited

If you really like these boots then you’re going to have to be quick on the draw when it comes to checkout. Because according to Microsoft’s blog post, there will only be 117 of these created and put up for sale. You’ll be able to buy them on March 29 at 9am PST/12pm EST at wolverine.com/halo for $225. So, they’re not cheap, but then again that shouldn’t be surprising. They’re made like all of Wolverine’s other boots that focus on support and comfort as well as long-lasting durability. Additionally, these look like a lot of hours went into coming up with the perfect design. In fact, the design collaboration on these apparently took over a year. Xbox’s Major Nelson says these are “tough as Mjolnir armor,” too. If that gives you any indication of what to expect from the durability aspect.

Multiple Halo-inspired boots will be released throughout the year

As noted above the Master Chief boots are just the first to hit the ground. Throughout the year, the Halo collaboration with Wolverine will spawn in multiple pairs of boots that celebrate the franchise. Expect those to cost around the same amount as these though. And expect them to be just as limited.
